Public Good Projects

Public Good Projects enhances health communication by training healthcare professionals in evidence-based practices. Their mission is to improve patient outcomes through effective communication strategies, fostering trust and understanding in healthcare settings.

Good communication is essential to good health care.&nbsp; The Trusted Messenger Program (TMP) Institute offers comprehensive, in-person training sessions on evidence-based health communication best practices. Attendees who successfully complete the curriculum receive TMP Train-the-Trainer Certification, as well as TMP training materials, allowing them to teach the TMP tools and strategies they&rsquo;ve learned across their own organization. MDs, DOs, RNs, NPs, PAs, and Pharmacists who complete the session will receive 7 full hours of CME. A light breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included. Training topics include: &bull; A deep dive on AIMS, a four-step, evidence-based communication approach that helps HCPs navigate difficult conversations &mdash; including talks about vaccines &mdash; in a way that builds trust and improves patient receptivity. &bull; A primer on how clear, consider, presumptive recommendations can reduce resistance, build trust, and improve patient outcomes. &bull; An in-depth exploration of strategic tools and rhetorical techniques that allow HCPs to become better, more confident communicators, including how to answer any patient or caregiver question with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
