Join&nbsp;Raksha&#39;s annual signature event, the 28th Ek Shaam Raksha Ke Naam, meaning &quot;An Evening in the Name of Raksha&quot;. This year&#39;s theme: The Light within honors the inner light, courage and hope that guides many survivors in finding their voice and power and embracing as they forge a new path, navigating tough journeys and the unknown. At a larger level, we need to honor the light within as we navigate the unknown paths to serving survivors in times where funding is being reduced, paths to justice are being blocked and we need the power and strength to weather the storms of uncertainty ahead.&nbsp;&nbsp;This year&rsquo;s event is especially vital, as it enables us to raise the necessary funds to continue providing life-changing services, including legal advocacy, housing assistance, and emotional support to survivors, especially in a time when many safety nets are being eroded.&nbsp; Join us in standing with South Asian American survivors of violence. 💜 Your presence helps sustain confidential support services, counseling, and advocacy that promote healing, empowerment, and justice.
