We&rsquo;ll turn animal-safe, reused materials into playful enrichment pi&ntilde;atas that support Tiger Creek&#39;s rescued animals and reflect our commitment to creative reuse, environmental stewardship, and booping snoots*. The goal of this volunteer workshop is to raise money for the opening season of Tiger Creek and their continued care of rescued big cats and other animals. This workshop fee goes to food, medical care, and safe shelter! NOTE: Due to the volunteer nature of this workshop, there are additional questions that must be answered for each Pi&ntilde;ata registration in order to comply with Tiger Creek&#39;s volunteer terms &amp; conditions. All children are guaranteed a delivered letter from Father Christmas before Christmas Eve. Join us as we learn the Japanese fabric art of kinusaiga &ndash; a no-sew quilt art form that uses fabric scraps, foam, and tight tucking to create beautiful, textured and patterned paintings. This workshop is all-inclusive. All supplies, materials, and instruction will be provided. Our pattern has been thoughtfully created by local artist, Ezra Lau.

Come learn a traditional Japanese art of embroidery &amp; stitching, sashiko (little stabs). Join our recrafting, seamstress extraordinaire, Marika, as she teaches us a bit of the history of sashiko and how to begin this art of stitching that is equal parts fashion and function.
