The Research Society on Alcoholism promotes scientific research on alcohol use and its effects, aiming to advance knowledge, inform policy, and improve public health through education and collaboration among researchers and practitioners.

Each year, a total of five (5) MD, PhD, or MD/PhD students receive $5,000 to support their research projects. Every donation goes to supporting this program and ensuring we are able to continue offering these small grants for years to come. RSA Karaoke Fundraiser

The Debby Sharp Memorial Endowment will help support trainee travel to the RSA Annual Meeting.&nbsp; Debby is synonymous with RSA, as she led the organization for nearly four decades before her retirement in 2024. She was known for investing in our trainees and we want to continue to honor that investment with this endowment in her name.&nbsp; Half of your donation to the initial fund will be used to support trainee travel to the 2027 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting in San Francisco, and the remainder will fund the endowment for future years.&nbsp; Your contribution will ensure that future generations of alcohol researchers will continue to benefit from Debby&#39;s years of support and care she poured into our Society.
