The Cradle of US Hockey license plate has been authorized by the State of Rhode Island, giving our community a new way to proudly show our love for the sport of hockey! This is an official registration plate to be issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles, and you must have a valid R.I. plate to receive one. The RI Hockey Hall of Fame Charity Plate pre-order is $43.50.The $43.50 is a one-time initial plate production cost, of which $20 is given to the Hall of Fame mission. At each renewal, $10 is given to the Hall of Fame mission. For each order, the Department of Motor Vehicles will issue two plates with the same plate number that you currently have. These will replace the plates that you currently have on your car. Once the state's minimum requirement of 600 pre-orders has been reached and the first 600 plates are ready for distribution, RIHHOF will notify you with details about a distribution event, including when and where you can pick up your RI Hockey Hall of Fame / Cradle of US Hockey Charity Plate. At this time we are only accepting Passenger Plate Applications. Thank you for your support and your pride in RI’s pioneering hockey legacy, and for your help in helping us make history together! Did you know? We fundraise with Zeffy to ensure 100% (our share) of your purchase goes to our mission! At the end of the checkout process, Zeffy adds a suggested tip. This is how Zeffy recoups its costs. A tip is not required, and you may change the amount to zero if you desire.
