Double, double, toil and trouble... the Roxbury Arts Alliance invites you to a spellbinding evening of mystery, music, and mischief! Gather your coven and prepare for the most hilarious Halloween parody around! BYOB and enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Joe&#39;s Pizzeria &amp; Restaurant as you become part of an interactive murder mystery unlike any other.&nbsp; When three delightfully wicked witches descend upon town with their own outrageous plans, chaos quickly follows. And when murder strikes, it&#39;s up to the audience to uncover the truth before the night&#39;s magic runs out! Created and directed by Tony Ardolino, Hocus Pocus Halloween is a laugh-out-loud theatrical experience packed with outrageous comedy, audience participation, and plenty of Halloween surprises.&nbsp; Inspired by a beloved Halloween movie featuring everyone&#39;s favorite trio of witches, this clever parody delivers an evening of unforgettable fun with its own original twists and magical mayhem. This is more than dinner and a show, it&#39;s your chance to become the detective! Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume for our thrilling costume contest and compete for bragging rights and a great prize! Whether you&#39;re a fan of Halloween, comedy, or interactive theater, this is one event you won&#39;t want to miss. Advance ticket purchase is required, and ticket sales will close 9/12/26 or sooner once sold out. NO TICKETS will be available at the door. FAQs &amp; Additional Info What is included with my ticket?Your ticket includes admission to the interactive murder mystery performance, dinner, and non-alcoholic beverages. Will there be vegetarian or special dietary options?Catering is by Joe&#39;s Pizzeria &amp; Restaurant. The menu will be finailized in early September. At our past events, the menu included a chicken dish, another protein dish, pasta with a non-meat sauce, a vegetable, salad and bread, allowing guests to choose meat or non-meat options for dinner. &nbsp;More specialized dietary accommodations may not be available. Will Alcohol be served?This is a BYOB event. Patrons may bring their own premixed canned/ bottled cocktails, beer or wine. Full-sized bottles of hard alcohol will not be permitted. Any patron consuming alcoholic beverages must present valid ID at check-in. No underage drinking will be tolerated. No alcoholic beverages will be provided or served by Roxbury Arts Alliance.&nbsp; Is this event family-friendly?Mostly, with a Halloween twist! This parody show, inspired by a classic witch-themed Halloween film, includes some adult humor or content and is best enjoyed by older children, teens, and adults. We recommend the event for ages 12 and up. Younger children should not attend. Any young guests should be able to comfortably sit through the approximately 3-hour dinner theater experience while respecting the enjoyment of fellow audience members. Can I request seating?Seating arrangements will be made by RAA staff. You will be advised of your seat when you check in at the event. Guests who purchase tickets in the same order will automatically be seated together whenever possible.&nbsp; Parties of more than eight guests may be split between nearby tables due to seating limitations. Guests are invited to join the Halloween fun, and there will be a costume contest with prizes. What time should I arrive?Doors open at 6 and we will kick off the evening with a buffet dinner starting at 630pm. We recommend arriving early to check in, find your table, and enjoy the pre-show atmosphere. Is the venue accessible?Yes. The Citizens Bank Theater, the entrance area, hallways and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. If you have accessibility needs, please let us know when purchasing your tickets so we can accommodate you. Hocus Pocus Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner

An Audio-Biography &amp; Southern Gothic Song Cycle From the team that brought&nbsp;The Devil &amp; Daisy Dirt&nbsp;to the RAA stage last year comes an entirely new evening of storytelling, music, and Southern Gothic folklore. Critically acclaimed writer and storyteller Alex Dawson and award-winning folk singer-songwriter Arlan Feiles combine spoken word with ten original biographical ballads to tell the strange, haunting, and sometimes brutal story of Dawson&#39;s childhood on a horse farm in rural Alabama. Part memoir, part concert, and part Southern Gothic ghost story, Room to Swing an Ax travels through a world of witches in the woods, snakes in the lake, ghosts in the barn, family legends, hard truths, and the kind of stories that become almost mythical with time.
