🎉 Celebrate the Royal Oak Symphony Orchestra&#39;s 30th Anniversary&nbsp;at our fundraising Gala! 🎉 &deg; The Gala will be at the Detroit Zoo&#39;s elegant Wildlife Interpretive Gallery (the front part of the Butterfly House building). Guests will have access to the Butterfly House for the first 2 hours of the event.&deg; Enjoy a buffet dinner, dessert, and free parking.&deg; Bid on unique and exciting items in our Silent Auction.&deg; Enjoy live music provided by ROSO musicians and the Brass Roots Band.&deg; Cash bar.&deg; Dress is Black Tie Optional.&deg; Please be aware that Zeffy (the host of this website) will ask if you want to tip them when you check out. The tip is completely optional.&nbsp;If you don&#39;t want to tip Zeffy, you have to manually change the tip amount to ZERO. Royal Oak Symphony Orchestra 30th Anniversary Gala

The very talented painter, John Nagridge, will paint this work while being inspired by the music of the Royal Oak Symphony Orchestra at our Friday, March 13th concert! Watch him create this unique piece with oils on canvas while you listen to &quot;The Moldau&quot; by Smetana! The proceeds from this auction will be shared by ROSO and John, who plans to donate his portion to the charity, Razom For Ukraine. The painting will be framed and boxed so the winner may transport it home safely. A typical painting of this style would be sold at art fairs for $950. Our starting bid tonight will be $100. The auction will close at 9:00pm Saturday, May 16th, the night of ROSO&#39;s 30th Anniversary Gala at the Detroit Zoo.&nbsp;Payments can be made with a credit card. Please be aware that Zeffy (the host of our auction) will automatically add a tip when you check out. This tip is optional, but you will need to manually change the amount to ZERO if you don&#39;t want to pay it when you checkout.&nbsp;Thank you for your participation in this unique event!! About John Nagridge:If you drive by a Royal Oak park or neighborhood street and see a man with a paint-stained white hat in front of an easel, chances are it&rsquo;s John Nagridge, our guest painter at tonight&rsquo;s concert. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wayne State University, his drawings, etchings, woodcuts and paintings have been exhibited in various metro Detroit galleries and venues including the Art &amp;amp; Faith Galleria, Royal Oak City Art Walk, the HAWK Community Center, Farmington Hills City Hall, the Honeycomb Gallery, Detroit Artists Market, The Michigan Gallery, the Ukrainian American Archives and Museum, Hatch Art Gallery, the Scarab Club, Michigan by the Bottle, and the Detroit Institute of Arts. His work has won awards at Alma College, the Paint Dexter Plein Air Festival, the Sylvania Plein Air Paint Fest, and the Royal Oak Parks and Recreation Centennial Art Contest. He is a member of the Michigan Plein Air Painters and the South Oakland Art Association, and teaches acrylic painting for the Farmington Hills Special Services.
