HIIT Fitness: High Intensity Interval Training is a total fitness conditioning program with the aim of improving cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, flexibility, strength, and speed. This type of training involves repeated bouts of high intensity effort followed by varied recovery times. Taught in many forms including Circuit, Tabata, AMRAP etc. These short, intense intervals provide improved cardiovascular capacity, improved glucose metabolism, decreased blood pressure and cholesterol profiles and a reduction in bodyfat while maintaining muscle mass. Classes will accommodate all bodies, fitness abilities, potential restrictions, or concerns you may have. A yoga mat is required.
