San Diego Community Kollel fosters Jewish learning and community engagement through educational programs, resources, and support, aiming to strengthen Jewish identity and connection among individuals and families in San Diego.

So far, scheduled programs include:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Scholar in Residence Shabbaton at Beth Jacob</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Community&nbsp;Lecture at Adat Yeshurun</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Parsha Class for men and women and Mishmar at SD Kollel</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Father&#39;s Day Brunch and&nbsp;Yom Iyun at SCY High</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Melaveh Malkah in partnership with Young Israel (pending)</li></ul>Rav Chaim Eisenstein is a sought-after lecturer on Education, Raising Children, Marriage, Relationships, Chassidus, and Avodas Hashem as well as a renowned Talmudic and Halachic Scholar. He serves as the Rav of Beis Medrash Mevakshei Emes in Ramat Beit Shemesh and as a Magid Shiur (Senior Lecturer) at Yeshiva University&rsquo;s Gruss Kollel in Jerusalem. During his last visit to San Diego, in 2024, he left an indelible impact on our community and we&rsquo;re looking forward to hosting him again.Rav Eisenstein was educated at Yeshivas Torah Temimah, Yeshiva Torah Vodaas, Yeshiva University, and Columbia University. He received his semicha from YU&rsquo;s Yeshivas Rabbeinu Yitzchak Elchanan as a member of the Kollel Elyon and studied Psychology at Columbia University. Rav Eisenstein is the author of Netios Chaim, which was published by Yeshiva University Press in 2014 and his thousands of lectures reach worldwide audiences via YUTorah.org and TorahAnytime.com.Rav Eisenstein is also Rabbi Simon&rsquo;s personal Rebbe and mentor.
