Sankofa Foundation

The Sankofa Foundation empowers African-American males through education by awarding scholarships and promoting self-esteem and good citizenship. Our initiatives aim to inspire youth and foster community development through generous support and fundraising.

What does it look like when a single choice transforms a life forever? For our students, it looks like confident steps onto a college campus, meaningful mentorship relationships, and the belief that their future truly matters because someone chose to invest in them. Those transformations don&rsquo;t happen by chance. They happen because committed partners like you step forward. Since 1997, because of partners like you, the Alpha Legacy Scholarship Gala has supported more than 110 students and invested nearly $190,000 in educational and developmental programming. Your support helps produce graduates who are prepared to lead, serve, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
