An Ashram runs on something older than a business model. It runs on dāna—generosity. Long ago, this Ashram made a choice: the wisdom offered here would never be shaped by what could be sold. Retreat contributions help meet the real costs of welcoming guests, but the Ashram’s finances do not depend entirely on its programs. What is offered can therefore remain guided by the deeper aims of the Ashram, rather than by income. This is what that choice looks like in practice. Your gift keeps the whole thing standing—the land maintained, the practice carried forward, the people who've given their lives to it able to keep doing so. It's a way of practice the world has largely let go of—and one you become part of, simply by giving.

Ashram Leaf Weekend

Dīwalī is one of the great celebrations of the Indian sacred year.Lamps illuminate homes and temples. Sacred spaces are cleaned and adorned. Offerings are made. Extraordinary foods and sweets are prepared. People gather in celebration. At its heart is one of humanity's most enduring spiritual images: light arising within darkness. In Yoga, that light speaks to illumination itself—to knowledge where there was ignorance, clarity where there was obscurity, and the awakening of our capacity to perceive what is true. On Dīwalī, that principle becomes something we can see, touch, offer, share, and celebrate. Orders canceled prior to 30 days before the event will be refunded in full. Orders canceled within 30 days of the event will be held as credit towards future events.

Dīwalī ~ The Festival of Light

The Winter Solstice brings the solar year to its deepest darkness—and within that darkness, the turning begins. The longest night marks not an ending, but the point from which light begins its return. The land has drawn inward. Life has become quiet. What appears still holds within it the forces from which another cycle will arise. For the Yogi, stillness is not absence. It is a condition from which perception deepens, Prāṇa gathers, and transformation becomes possible. At the Solstice, we enter that stillness consciously—gathering around sacred fire at the darkest turning of the year and aligning ourselves with the first movement of returning light. Winter Solstice · Uttarāyaṇa

Mahāśivarātri is one of the great sacred nights of the Yogic year—a night given to Śiva and the profound stillness he represents. Śiva is the Ādi Yogi, the primordial Yogi, and the embodiment of the consciousness toward which Yoga ultimately leads. As darkness falls, the observance turns increasingly inward. Mantra, meditation, pūjā, Yajña, and extended practice carry the night forward, creating a rare opportunity to enter deeply into stillness and sustained awareness. Orders canceled prior to 30 days before the event will be refunded in full. Orders canceled within 30 days of the event will be held as credit towards future events.

Mahāśivarātri ~ The Great Night of Lord Shiva

At the Spring Equinox, day and night come again into balance as the living world begins its return from winter. Across the land, what has been dormant begins to move. Light increases, the earth softens, and Prāṇa becomes increasingly expressive through growth, movement, and new life. Within Yoga, these changes are not separate from us. Human life exists within the same natural order—Ṛta—that moves through the seasons, the elements, the body, and every living thing. The Equinox offers a moment to enter that renewal consciously: to restore balance within ourselves and bring our own lives into greater alignment with the movement toward vitality and growth. Orders canceled prior to 30 days before the event will be refunded in full. Orders canceled within 30 days of the event will be held as credit towards future events.

Spring Equinox · Viṣuva

Join us for the culminating celebration of Spring Navarātri, the nine sacred nights devoted to the Divine Mother. At this season of emergence and renewal, we turn toward Śakti—the creative power Yoga understands as moving through and animating all life. As the natural world awakens around us, the observance offers a powerful opportunity to experience our own practice within these larger rhythms of life and renewal. Together, we honor this ancient Yogic tradition through practice, sacred observance, shared food, and celebration. Orders canceled prior to 30 days before the event will be refunded in full. Orders canceled within 30 days of the event will be held as credit towards future events.

Spring Navarātri ~ Celebration of the Goddess

The Summer Solstice marks the height of the solar year—the longest day and the fullest expression of light. The Prāṇa awakened through spring has come into abundance. Forests are dense with life, the earth is producing, and the sun reaches the culmination of its annual ascent. Yoga asks us not simply to witness these movements, but to recognize ourselves within them. The same forces that animate the natural world move through the human body and mind. The Solstice is a time to enter that fullness consciously—to celebrate vitality and abundance while bringing our own Prāṇa into deeper relationship with the greater order in which it moves. Orders canceled prior to 30 days before the event will be refunded in full. Orders canceled within 30 days of the event will be held as credit towards future events.

Summer Solstice · Daksinayana

For thousands of years, Yogic knowledge has passed from one human being to another. Guru Pūrṇimā honors that transmission. It is a day given to the Guru, to the great teachers who came before, and to the Paramparā through which knowledge received in one generation is carried faithfully into the next. Within an Ashram, this is not an abstract principle. It is the living relationship upon which the continuity of the tradition depends. Guru Pūrṇimā is a day of gratitude for what has been received, reverence for those who carried it, and renewed commitment to what we ourselves have been entrusted to carry forward. Orders canceled prior to 30 days before the event will be refunded in full. Orders canceled within 30 days of the event will be held as credit towards future events.

Guru Pūrṇimā ~ Honoring the Guru

At the Autumn Equinox, day and night return once more to balance, but the movement of the year has changed. Growth gives way to harvest. Light begins to recede. Across the natural world, energy is gathered, conserved, and drawn inward. Yoga recognizes the wisdom of this movement. There are times for expression and times for return; times when Prāṇa moves outward into activity and times when it must be gathered toward stillness. The Equinox offers a moment to enter that transition deliberately—to recognize what has come to fruition, release what has completed its course, and bring ourselves into harmony with the inward movement of the year. Orders canceled prior to 30 days before the event will be refunded in full. Orders canceled within 30 days of the event will be held as credit towards future events.

Autumnal Equinox · Jalavisuva

Join us for Vijayadaśamī, the culminating celebration of Fall Navarātri, one of Yoga’s most ancient sacred observances. Navarātri honors the Divine Mother and Śakti—the living power through which creation, transformation, and spiritual evolution unfold. Vijayadaśamī marks the victorious conclusion of these nine sacred nights, traditionally celebrating the overcoming of forces that obscure truth and impede transformation. Through Yoga, sacred practice, shared food, and celebration, we enter this ancient observance together and explore its meaning within our own practice and lives. Orders canceled prior to 30 days before the event will be refunded in full. Orders canceled within 30 days of the event will be held as credit towards future events.
