The Seamus Gee Legacy Project honors Seamus Gee by supporting youth and families in the community. We provide resources through Foundry Langley, offering mental health care and scholarships, while fostering connection and opportunity for a brighter future.

💙 Together, We&rsquo;re Making a Difference 💙 Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, donors, and volunteers, the Seamus Gee Legacy Project continues to create meaningful impact for youth and families in need. ✨ What We&rsquo;ve Achieved Together:🎓 Awarded bursaries and scholarships to deserving high school students🧠 Supported Foundry, a vital resource for youth ages 12&ndash;24 and their caregivers through annual donations and awareness-building speaking engagements🚶&zwj;♂️ Established Seamus&rsquo; Stroll, our heartfelt annual community walk honoring Seamus and raising awareness for youth needs🎄 Hosted Christmas Food &amp; Toy Drives and provided Christmas Hampers to families in need 🌱 Our Mission Continues:✔️ Expanding support for youth and families✔️ Strengthening existing programs✔️ Exploring new initiatives that serve our community 🔥 We Raise Funds Through:🛍️ Our Spring and Fall Online Auctions🚶&zwj;♀️ Seamus&rsquo; Stroll Community Walk🍔 Community BBQs and other fundraising events 🎉 This year&rsquo;s auction features an amazing variety of items &mdash; truly something for everyone!Every bid helps support youth and families in our community. 🌟 Event Description Seamus&rsquo; Stroll 🚶&zwj;♀️🚶&zwj;♂️ is held annually to honour the memory of Seamus 💙 and to bring our community together in support of local youth. The event features an approximately 3 km walk 👟, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities. Seamus&rsquo; Stroll is an opportunity to raise awareness 📣 about the needs of youth in our community while spending meaningful time together 🤝. Community members are encouraged to form teams 👥 and collect pledges or donations 💰 ahead of the event to support this important cause. Come Cheer on the Vancouver Giants &amp; Help Make a Difference for Youth in our community! Join us on Saturday, February 13th, 2027, at the Langley Events Centre as the Vancouver Giants take on their division rivals, the Kelowna Rockets! We are incredibly excited to announce this special fundraising partnership between the Seamus Gee Legacy Project and the Vancouver Giants. For this game, our organization will be the receiving charity of the 50/50, creating an incredible opportunity to raise funds that will directly support our efforts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth in our community. Every Ticket Makes a Difference We are selling tickets for this exciting game for only $27.00 each, compared to $29.95 when purchasing directly through the Vancouver Giants. The tickets will be located in the sections located behind the net that the Giants defend in the 1st and 3rd periods. These tickets make great Christmas gifts or the perfect way to get your friends, family, coworkers, or entire crew together for an exciting night of hockey while supporting a meaningful cause. You will receive your tickets via email directly from the Vancouver Giants early in the week leading up to the game unless you request to receive them earlier. There is one very important detail: To ensure the Seamus Gee Legacy Project receives credit toward our required minimum of 300 tickets sold, all tickets must be purchased through the Seamus Gee Legacy Project. When you purchase your tickets through us, you&#39;re doing more than securing a great night of hockey you are helping us reach our fundraising goal and continue our work supporting youth in our community. And if you can&#39;t join us at the game, you can still be part of this special fundraiser! 50/50 tickets will be available for purchase online beginning the morning of game day, giving everyone an opportunity to support the cause, even from home.
