Sponsor A Child supports the education of the children of the invisible poor (subsistence farmers, village artisans, maid servants, taxi drivers, autorikshaw drivers, construction labor, private security personnel, etc.). Your support opens doors to lasting change.Education, a fundamental right, often faces challenges like inadequate infrastructure, limited access, and financial constraints. One of the most pressing issues is the alarming dropout rate, with a staggering 12.6% of students leaving school prematurely, according to the Indian National Statistical Office. Children from families affected by sudden tragedies, such as the loss of a breadwinner or a major health crisis, are particularly vulnerable to dropping out.The Sponsor a Child program, initiated by Sewa International, aims to bridge this gap. By providing financial support to students from grades 1 to 12, we empower them to continue their education, based on their socioeconomic background. Since its inception, the program has positively impacted the lives of over 25,000 children, ensuring that their dreams remain within reach. For more information visit our website https://sac.sewausa.org
