Sharing Smiles International provides free cleft lip and palate surgeries to children in Latin America, raising awareness and funds to transform lives through accessible healthcare and volunteer support.

July is National Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness Month! Sharing Smiles International is raising funds to provide free cleft lip and palate surgeries to children in select sites across Latin America.&nbsp; A generous donor has committed $10,000 in matching funds for our Summer of Smiles campaign. Every dollar you give before July 31 is matched 1:1 &mdash; which means your $250 gift funds a full surgery, and your $500 gift funds two.&nbsp; Cleft conditions are among the most common birth differences in the world &mdash; and one of the most treatable. Sharing Smiles will be back in Merida, Mexico in August 2026 to restore smiles. Bringing together an international team of volunteers and local health care providers, our goal is to ensure every child born with a cleft condition receives timely, world-class access to comprehensive cleft care.&nbsp; $25 provides a blanket and stuffie to support a child through surgery. &nbsp;Even our teens love these!&nbsp; $100 covers surgical supplies for one patient. $500 covers an entire surgery for one patient. $1,000 covers the cost of one medical volunteer.
