"Meet the Needs" Capitol Campaign
The Lord has certainly blessed Camp Shetek with a beautiful campground to use as a “Meeting place with God.” Every year there are so many people that gather here to meet the Lord for the first time and/or to grow in their relationship with him. As stewards of this camp that God has provided for us, there are several maintenance projects that need to be addressed. The total estimated cost of these projects is $200,000. Some of the projects include: Painting the old chapel and replacing its 25 windows that are 75-years-old, reconstructing the boardwalk and the 2 gazebos by the lake that were built in 1989, and treating the log siding on the 45-year-old Brygger Hall. To begin to address some of these needs, the camp has launched the “Meet the Needs” capitol campaign. We’re grateful to announce that some generous supporters of the camp have offered a $50,000 matching gift challenge. All gifts to this campaign, up to $50,000, will be matched. As funds come in, the camp board will begin to start addressing these maintenance needs. We would like to invite you to prayerfully consider participating in this campaign by giving a tax-deductible gift to help meet these needs.
