Sponsor Heart of the Sanctuary Retreat

The Sanctuary of the Heart Retreat is an invitation to discover that the greatest sanctuary we can create is the one we cultivate within ourselves. Set within the peaceful surroundings of Silhouette Island Sanctuary, home of the SiS Foundation, where rescued exotic animals are offered safety, compassion, and lifelong care, this immersive retreat invites you to slow down, reconnect, and remember that the qualities we so freely extend to others, kindness, presence, patience, and compassion, are also qualities we can offer ourselves. Throughout this thoughtfully curated day, you’ll gather alongside a supportive community of women as you experience mindfulness, movement, nourishment, reflection, creativity, and meaningful connection. Every part of the day has been intentionally designed to help you reconnect with yourself, deepen your relationship with the world around you, and experience the transformative power of compassion. As you learn more about the sanctuary and its mission, you’ll be invited to explore the connection between caring for ourselves and extending compassion to the living world around us. From grounding yoga and a heart-opening cacao ceremony to guided mindfulness, creative expression, a nourishing catered lunch, and an immersive outdoor sound meditation, the day offers space to nurture your mind, body, and spirit. Our morning will also include an opportunity to connect with a thoughtfully curated group of local wellness providers and retreat sponsors. You’ll have time to meet the people behind these businesses, explore their offerings, and discover wellness resources available within the Clermont and surrounding Central Florida community. By bringing these providers together with the women attending the retreat, we hope to create connections that extend well beyond this one day. Midday, we’ll gather for a nourishing catered vegetarian lunch generously sponsored and provided by Mervana Wellness, giving you an opportunity to slow down, enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal, and connect with the women sharing this experience with you. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a season of change, longing for deeper connection, or simply ready to invest in yourself, the Sanctuary of the Heart Retreat offers a peaceful space to pause, reconnect, and remember the strength, wisdom, and compassion that already live within you. You will leave with more than memories of a beautiful day. You’ll leave with a renewed sense of self, meaningful connections with other women, and simple practices that can help you carry the peace and compassion of the sanctuary into your everyday life. Your Retreat Journey The Sanctuary of the Heart Retreat unfolds as a thoughtfully curated experience, inviting you to move gently through moments of movement, mindfulness, nourishment, creativity, connection, community, and deep restoration. Throughout the day, you’ll be guided through experiences that encourage you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and embrace the power of compassion. Each experience naturally builds upon the next, allowing you to immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings of the sanctuary while creating meaningful space for reflection, renewal, and personal growth. Your morning will also include dedicated time to explore and connect with local wellness providers and retreat sponsors joining us at the sanctuary. This community experience gives you an opportunity to discover resources, services, and businesses dedicated to supporting well-being while celebrating and strengthening our local wellness community. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about the SiS Foundation, its mission, and the important work its caregivers do for the exotic animals who call the sanctuary home. From the opening moments of grounding and intention setting to the peaceful closing sound meditation beneath the Florida sky, every part of the retreat has been intentionally designed to nurture your mind, body, and spirit.
