SJFCC Robotics Teams

SJFCC Robotics Teams inspire young minds through engaging STEM activities focused on dinosaurs and space, fostering creativity and hands-on learning. They aim to cultivate interest in robotics and science among children aged 6-11.

Join the St John Fisher Catholic College Robotics Teams as we explore space and dinosaurs through a range of hands on STEM activities. Each activity allows families to get hands on with STEM craft activities linked to two of the most exciting topics around - dinosaurs and outer space. Activities include: Creating foam clay fossils Wax rubbing dinosaur picturesChromatography space paintingsBuilding flying saucers Investigating forces with straw rockets There will also be the opportunity to see our robot (it's a work in progress!), learn more about FTC robotics and take part in our design a robot competition. All participants need to be accompanied by an adult through out, while activities are designed for 6-11 year olds younger/older participants are more than welcome. Just be aware that younger participants may need adult support to complete the activities.
