Soroptimist International of Edmonton empowers women and girls through education and training, promoting economic empowerment and gender equality. Since 1936, we focus on improving quality of life and breaking the cycle of poverty in our community.

🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of Soroptimist International of Edmonton&#39;s 90th Anniversary fundraising event. Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. We have been serving women and girls since May 1936, and we&#39;d like you to be part of the celebration! 🎉 Every registration for this event will bring us closer to achieving our goal of empowering women and girls facing obstacles. Our Dream Programs provide women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. Our focus is on improving quality of life, and achieving gender equality by breaking cycles of poverty. Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime journey on the Melbourne Streetcar operated by the Edmonton Radial Railway Society. Your 1&frac12; hour round-trip guided tour begins and ends at the Whyte Avenue stop. Halfway through the trip, on the High-Level Bridge, we will have appetizers/snacks, 90th anniversary cake, and either sparkling wine or sparkling juice. You will leave with a better knowledge of the city, a better understanding of our organization, a souvenir champagne flute, and a good feeling about having contributed to the well-being of women and girls in the Edmonton area and beyond. Seats are limited to 44, including 2 accessible spaces for those with wheelchairs. We use Zeffy, a free platform for nonprofits that ensures 100% of raised funds go towards our mission. Zeffy is funded solely by contributions from donors like you.
