Join Us in the Fight Against Child Abuse: Foster a CASA Buddy this April!April is Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month. This April, South Central CASA is calling on businesses across Cleveland, Garvin, and McClain Counties to join us in raising awareness for child abuse prevention by fostering a CASA Buddy at your business throughout the month.Our CASA Buddies shine a light on the crucial work we do and help share ways your employees, customers, and community members can get involved in supporting children in need.When you foster a CASA Buddy, you’re helping us spark conversations about child abuse prevention and encouraging others to learn more about how they can stand up for children in our community. Each CASA Buddy will be displayed in your business, accompanied by an information sheet that highlights the impact of CASA volunteers and the importance of advocating for children in DHS custody.Your CASA Buddy is ready to display and we can even help personalize it to reflect your business’s unique style or team spirit. Each display includes a wooden CASA Buddy and a framed information sheet to accompany it. Our goal is to have these buddies scattered throughout the counties we serve, starting with you!The cost to foster a CASA Buddy is $250, and every dollar directly supports South Central CASA’s mission to advocate for children in the child welfare system.
