Home for Life - Sponsor Maisie
Maisie came into the care of St Francis Dogs Home in February 2023 and has been happily living in long-term foster ever since. As an older dog, finding the right permanent home can be difficult, particularly when future veterinary needs are a concern. Maisie recently needed surgery to remove an eye following a painful ulcer, but she recovered wonderfully and has adapted beautifully. She also has some arthritis in her back legs and receives regular veterinary check-ups. Your sponsorship will help us provide Maisie with the ongoing veterinary care, support and love she needs, allowing her to enjoy her retirement in the comfort of the home she knows and loves.

Home for Life - Sponsor Rosie
Rosie came into our care extremely overweight and was struggling to walk. Her wonderful foster family worked incredibly hard to help her lose weight, and she has now reached her target weight and can enjoy walks and trips to the beach again. Sadly, the effects of her previous weight contributed to diabetes, meaning Rosie now needs daily insulin for the rest of her life. She also has cherry eye which is currently managed with eye drops. Your sponsorship will help cover Rosie’s insulin, medication, regular veterinary checks and ongoing care, helping her remain happy, healthy and active for many years to come.

Home for Life - Sponsor Teddy
Teddy came into our care when his owners could no longer afford to care for him. He arrived with a severely matted coat, was blind and hard of hearing, and was in considerable discomfort. We immediately arranged veterinary treatment and had his painful coat removed. Once he recovered, Teddy went into a wonderful foster home where he has completely blossomed. He now enjoys life alongside his beloved Labrador brother, Frankie, and is a happy and much-loved member of the family. Your sponsorship will help provide Teddy with ongoing veterinary care, grooming, food and any additional support he needs throughout his life.
