LXCL:For over 25 years, Street Culture Project has been a lifeline for underserved youth, offering mentorship, housing, and community outreach. Our mission is to create safe, inclusive spaces where young people feel valued and empowered to discover their potential. Through tailored programs, we provide the tools youth need to build brighter futures and foster independence. We believe every young person deserves a chance to thrive, creating meaningful impact one life at a time.

Street Culture Project: Creating Safe Spaces That Change LivesEvery young person deserves a place where they feel safe, seen, and valued. At Street Culture Project, we believe that the spaces we build become the futures we create. A safe space is more than four walls and a roof&mdash;it is where a young person escaping homelessness finds stability, where someone struggling with mental health discovers hope, where relationships are rebuilt, and where confidence begins to replace crisis. Today, Street Culture Project operates nine safe spaces across Regina, welcoming hundreds of youth each year who are facing homelessness, poverty, trauma, addiction, and social isolation. These spaces include emergency shelter, supportive housing, mentorship, employment programs, cultural programming, and community gathering places&mdash;all designed around one purpose: helping young people move from survival to belonging.&nbsp; As demand for our services continues to grow, so does the need to invest in the places that make transformation possible. Funding will support capital improvements, renovations, repairs, accessibility upgrades, furnishings, safety enhancements, and future expansion, ensuring every environment reflects the dignity, safety, and opportunity that every young person deserves. The impact of these investments extends far beyond bricks and mortar. Every renovated room creates a safer night&rsquo;s sleep. Every improved gathering space strengthens relationships. Every welcoming doorway communicates a powerful message: You belong here. You matter. Your future is worth investing in.
