These students, ages 13–18, spent their day doing the heavy lifting that keeps our mission moving. They unloaded food trailers, organized our cold storage, and prepared hundreds of boxes of food for our neighbors.Their impact went far beyond the physical work. They stepped into our distribution line to offer a listening ear to those carrying heavy burdens, providing prayer and guidance to our guests. They learned a lesson that we hope lasts a lifetime: giving back is one of the most positive, transformative things you can do in life.Our Mission: Maximizing Every DollarWe are proud of how we serve. Through partnerships with nine local store locations—including Walmart, Dollar General, and Brookshires—we participate in food rescue to save high-quality perishables from going to waste.Because of this, we don't have to spend your donations on basic staples like dairy and produce. Instead, we use your contributions to purchase dry and canned goods through our partnership with the USDA and Feeding America.
