LXCL:The Access, Unity, and Development Collective (AUD) is a place-maker for Black theatre artists in Memphis, creating room for visibility, vulnerability, and viability. How we live that out:We fund artists and families in crisis, curate space for us to process together, and show up loud for Black theatre on stage and off. We love this community enough to say and do the "AUD" thing.

Supporting the Artists Who Bring Our Stories to Life This season, as we celebrate Langston Hughes&rsquo; Black Nativity, we&rsquo;re launching the AUD Artists Support Fund &mdash; a practical and heartfelt way to give back to the performers, musicians, and creatives who keep Memphis&rsquo; stages alive. Many don&rsquo;t realize that most performing artists in our city are unpaid or underpaid for their time, talent, and dedication. The AUD Artists Support Fund provides direct assistance for artists in need, covering essentials like food, utilities, transportation, and shelter during rehearsals and productions. Your gift helps ensure that no artist has to choose between survival and their art. It&#39;s audacious, but together, we can make sure creativity is cared for, not just celebrated.

The Access Unity and Development Collective (AUD) created the Artists Travel Fund to remove the barriers that often keep talented artists from participating fully in community productions and programs. Many of our performers and creatives travel from surrounding areas to share their gifts in Memphis. This fund provides the practical support that makes that possible&mdash;covering gas, rideshares, lodging, meals, and other travel-related needs. When you give to the Artists Travel Fund, you help ensure every artist can show up, rehearse, and perform with dignity. We invite you to cut loose at our fourth annual Black Theatre Artists Reunion, The AUDBALL IV. Bring your joy and blackness. We have conquered another year on stage, behind the scenes, and even at rest. It matters to be alive at a time like this. Your art and presence have made this community worth celebrating. Nacho bar, full bar, hookah, and a DJ who knows just how we like it, it&#39;s the afterparty no one likes to miss. Come shake ass with us. AUD exists as a placemaker, creating room for visibility, vulnerability, and viability for Black artists in Memphis. That has looked like raising funds for artists and families in crisis, streaming Broadway when the door wasn&#39;t open otherwise, curating space for us to process together, and showing up loud for the work happening in this community, on stage and off. Your ticket keeps that possible. No one is turned away from the AUDBALL because they can&#39;t afford to be here.
