Shelly’s Guitar Giveaway is a special New Year edition from BG Amplify Foundation. When I was a kid, my aunt Shelly gifted me my first guitar — not for a birthday or holiday, but simply because she knew I’d love it. That single act of generosity became a pivotal moment in my life and helped shape my love for music. To say thank you to our 2025 supporters and welcome new friends in 2026, we’re launching our first-ever FREE raffle— inspired by the same spirit of generosity my aunt Shelly showed years ago. That simple act helped shape the path that brought me here today, and I’m forever grateful. 🎟 All entries are free 🎸 Prize: Guitar + one free month of lessons at BGRBA❤️ Optional donations available (never required) This one-time giveaway is about gratitude, community, and paying forward the power of music. Donations, if given, help support our monthly scholarships — but everyone is welcome to enter. Sometimes one small act can change everything. Executive DirectorMatt DeVore

Amplifest at The Dive

The BG Amplify Foundation presents an event that supports our mission to "Amplify Creative Spirits"! Amplifest is a community partner effort to showcase the local talents of children in programs at SOKY Dance Arts, Arts for All, BG Rock Band Academy, as well as attendees who want to dabble in the arts themselves. With karaoke contests backed by a live band, community painting activities, and more - our whole community will have the chance to explore and discover their own creative side. Food trucks and vendors will also be present and at the end of the day we have some local music for everyone to listen and enjoy - (Opossum Holler, Jamie Resch, and more tba!) All money raised at this event will go towards scholarships to help kids reach their dreams by enabling them to participate in our local arts programs.
