Bridge Street Chamber Players, Quintets for Mandolin and String Quartet

The Bridge Street Chamber Players are pleased to have Lewis Baratz, recorder player, harpsichordist, musicologist and conductor as our guest artist for our March 8th Concert. This concert will highlight Baroque chamber repertoire and will comprise works by English composer Richard Jones, the great late-Barqoue lute composer Silvuis Leopold Weiss, and J.S Bach. Included in the program is BWV 1025, a suite in Bach&rsquo;s pen after an original Sonata by Weiss and provides interesting insights on both composers.&nbsp;

Each donation will help The Bridge Street Chamber Players present thoughtfully curated chamber music programs performed by dedicated local musicians and distinguished guest artists. This year we hope to bring back the Atlantic Mandolin Quartet among other world class artists.&nbsp; When you give today, you are helping bring great classical music to Bucks County and local chamber music. Any gift is meaningful to us. A $200.00 donation will entitle the giver to free access (four tickets-a value of 100.00) for the four concert series. Reserved seating will be available for supporters who donate $100.00 or more.&nbsp;

Will include works by Leclair, Beethoven, Albinoni, and a world premiere of a Double Concerto by Philadelphia composer Allen Krantz.&nbsp; Our series is dedicated to the live performance of chamber music for mixed instruments, with a special emphasis on works that include the mandolin. &nbsp;Audiences will experience a range of performances from well known chamber staples to lesser known works, new arrangements and new music
