The Center Project is Mid-MO's LGBTQIA+ community center, dedicated to providing resources, support, and a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community. We promote inclusivity, education, and advocacy to empower individuals and foster community connections.

Rainbow Ride Raffle & Merch

Thank you for supporting our 5th annual Rainbow Ride!&nbsp; In 2022, The Center Project (TCP) hosted the first-ever Rainbow Ride to raise funds in response to an increasing need to serve LGBTQIA+ community members in crisis. Now an annual event, the Rainbow Ride is a family-friendly cycling celebration that supports TCP&rsquo;s Emergency Fund, which helps mid-Missouri LGBTQIA+ community members avoid eviction, flee domestic violence, afford basic needs, access necessary medical care, and more. Since our inaugural Ride, we&rsquo;ve assisted over 120 individuals and, this year, we have a goal of raising $15,000 to continue serving our community. The Center Project&rsquo;s 2026 Rainbow Ride will take place on June 13, 2026. Riders meet at Peace Park, ride 5 miles up the MKT and back (or turn around early if desired), and enjoy food and community in Peace Park! Those who do not wish to ride can still join the picnic to celebrate Pride Month. To make the Rainbow Ride a success, we are seeking community sponsorships and support. 2026 Rainbow Ride - Sponsorships

Join us for the 5th annual Rainbow Ride!&nbsp; In response to LGBTQIA+ community members turning to The Center Project in crisis with minimal support systems, we developed our <a fr-original-style="" href="https://centerproject.org/emergencyfund/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Emergency Fund</a>. Since 2023, we have supported 123 individuals totaling $45,000! Each year our annual Rainbow Ride&ndash;a family-friendly cycling event&ndash;supports the Emergency Fund so we can continue supporting LGBTQIA+ people to avoid eviction, flee domestic violence, afford basic needs, access necessary medical care, and more. Chappell Roan Ticket Raffle!

Join us for the 4th annual Rainbow Rock and Ride!&nbsp; We will have a bike ride starting from Flat Branch Park and going down the MKT trail and back at 5:00pm. Even with light rain, we are still planning to have the bike ride happen as scheduled. DUE TO RAIN and our need for sound and light equipment to not get wet - The rest of the evening festivities will take place in (Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbia, 2615 Shepard Blvd, Columbia, MO 65201) and include:- Gayest Pet Show Hosted by Lizzi and Rocco&#39;s at Peace Park- Musical performance by the January Lanterns- Drag show at the end of the night- Yard games- Drinks and food Come enjoy a fun summer evening with the community!
