This special gathering honors the people who believed in our vision from the beginning and helped turn that vision into action. Together, we will celebrate the impact of our inaugural year, share a few of the stories that have shaped our journey, and offer a glimpse of what lies ahead for The IMARA Project. We are honored to welcome Doris Reed, poet and author of Tending My Garden, whose work has appeared in Essence, Science of the Mind, and Heritage magazines, as well as the Los Angeles Sentinel. Enjoy an intimate evening of light refreshments, poetry, reflection, and connection as we celebrate the community that made our first year possible. Because of you, the journey has begun.
