If you&#39;re visiting the Grant Park Farmers Market this summer, we invite you to stop by and learn more about our school community. Prospective Families are welcome to join us for Mini Open House/Information Sessions from 10:00 AM&ndash;11:00 AM on the following dates:June 28July 12July 26 Children are welcome to attend. During your visit, you&#39;ll have the opportunity to tour our school, meet Executive Director Melissa Fergueson, learn about our future new location (6 Minutes away at Terminal South), and hear more about our vision for the future.&nbsp; Whether you&#39;re actively exploring school options or simply curious to learn more about our community, we look forward to welcoming you and answering your questions. Hello Nest Nursery School Prospective Families First, I want to sincerely apologize for the lack of communication over the past few months. As some of you may know, The Nest Nursery School has been working to secure a new location this year. We were actively pursuing a very promising space that ultimately fell through late last winter. This unexpected change required us to pause planning for the 2026&ndash;2027 school year until we could secure a new home. With time becoming limited and the feasibility of completing a full build-out diminishing, we made the decision to focus all of our energy on finding a stable location before moving forward with prospective families. I am very happy to share that, at the last moment, we were able to secure a path forward.&nbsp; We have secured a lease extension at our current location (1040 Grant Street) through the end of 2026. Beginning in January 2027, we will have transitioned into our new home at Terminal South in Peoplestown&mdash;an exciting new family centered project here in Atlanta. With this in place, we are now able to move forward with tours and enrollment! Thank you again for your patience and understanding over the past six months. Parent's Night Out - February 14, 2026

Please join us for our annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Thursday, February 12th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at The Nest. This is a chance to continue raising money for The Nest Nursery School Wellness Fund, and to get high-quality indoor/outdoor sensory bins for each classroom. The Spaghetti Dinner is an event for the whole family. Your ticket includes all-you-can eat spaghetti and salad plus nonalcoholic drinks. Alcoholic drinks will be available for sale. Feel free to invite friends and family. Kids eat free! Every year we have our meatball and veggieball competition. Make a batch of your best meat- or veggie-balls to share, and win your face on the coveted meatball plaque to be exalted for the coming year. Competition form will come out later today. We hope to see you there!

Prospective Families, Sign Up For A Tour During School Hours Children are welcome to attend. Join us for a 30-minute tour of The Nest Nursery School during the school day and experience our community in action. Approximately 20 minutes are spent visiting our four classrooms, serving children from 3 months to 5 years old, giving you the opportunity to observe our educators, environments, and emergent curriculum. During your visit, you&#39;ll also receive an overview of our Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy, school hours, on-site vegetarian food program, enrollment process, and what makes The Nest unique.
