LXCL:The Nicolaysen Art Museum’s mission is to collect, preserve, and exhibit the work of contemporary artists and present it to the community as a vital source of inspiration and education. Our vision is to be the cultural anchor for our community.

Who&rsquo;s ready to POP? Pop Culture Camp is a super fun week of artmaking inspired by the colorful world of pop art and pop culture. Campers will explore where the Pop Art movement began, how pop culture has changed over time, and how artists turn familiar images, trends, and icons into something creative and new. Through hands-on projects, young artists will experiment with drawing, collage, and mixed media while building their own bold and original work. It&rsquo;s a playful week of learning, making, and looking at the world around us in a fresh way. Session details: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM camp: ages 6 to 10 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM camp: ages 11 to 15

Food vendors are a central part of the festival experience, serving thousands of guests over four days. NIC Fest aims to present a diverse and thoughtfully curated food truck lineup that enhances the festival atmosphere while supporting participating vendors. Thank you for your interest in serving at NIC Fest 2026. Licensing and DocumentationFood truck vendors are responsible for acquiring all applicable licenses and insurance. Copies of insurance, health department certificates, and sales tax licenses and or revenue ID numbers must be provided to Erin Shipley at events@thenic.org by May 24, 2026. Failure to meet documentation requirements by the deadline will result in forfeiture of fees and space. Applicants will be notified of acceptance decisions via email no later than March 31, 2026.

NIC FEST 2026 Vendor Payment Portal

Build, mold, and invent in 3D at Summer Camp: 3D Camp for ages 7&ndash;15. Young artists will explore sculpture, clay, and mixed media while learning how shape, texture, and space bring ideas off the page. Guided by Nicolaysen Art Museum teaching artists, campers experiment, make mistakes, and try again, hands-on, no screens. Your child&rsquo;s curiosity is the starting point as we share the museum&rsquo;s mission of creativity, accessibility, and art for our whole Casper community.

Summer Camp: 3D Camp - Ages 7-15, 9 AM -12 PM

Are you up for a challenge? Design Challenge Camp gives young artists ages 10-15 the chance to stretch their skills in new and interesting ways. Campers will explore how the same design can come to life through very different materials and techniques, all while building creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills at The NIC.

Summer Camp: Design Challenge - Ages 10-15, 1-4 PM

Little yogis and budding artists are invited to join us for a week of movement, mindfulness, and making. Through mixed-media art projects and simple yoga exercises, campers will explore the connection between body and mind while building creativity, focus, and confidence. Surrounded by art, nature, and fellow young creators, campers will have space to breathe deeply, try new things, and bring their ideas to life in thoughtful and playful ways.

Step into the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy at the Nicolaysen Art Museum 🕯️-an immersive evening where classic tales, crafted cocktails, and visual art come together. Explore the Wonderful World of Colored Pencils with Lynn JonesJoin us at The Nicolaysen Art Museum for a two-day in-person workshop with artist Lynn Jones.This welcoming workshop is open to all levels, from complete beginners to experienced artists. No need to know how to draw. Handouts and a supply list will be provided, and supplies are included for use during class. Workshop Dates:Friday, May 1, 2026Saturday, May 2, 2026 Time:10:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day Location:The Nicolaysen Art MuseumCasper, Wyoming Registration:$175 for NIC Members $200 general registration Ages: Participants must be 12 or older.Class size is limited, so early registration is encouraged. About the artist:Lynn Jones has been an artist all of her life, and her path was encouraged early on by her high school art teacher. While earning her art degree in college, she sold her first oil painting to the Dean of the College. Her education later expanded into International Business and a Master of Business Administration, but creativity has remained a constant thread throughout her life. Over the years, Lynn has worked in sewing, quilting, jewelry design, a bridal business, interior design, and gardening. It is that last passion that most inspires her artwork today. She taught business for more than 15 years and now teaches art classes in professional colored pencil, watercolor, and pastel. In addition to formal classes, she offers private lessons and accepts commissions. She has lived in Wyoming for more than 30 years, with sales, classes, and exhibits reaching all 50 states.

Date Night at the Museums 2026

Empty Bowls 2026 takes place at The Nicolaysen Art Museum on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Guests enjoy a comforting meal and receive a handcrafted bowl in support of hunger relief efforts across Wyoming.Tickets are $50 and include one handcrafted bowl. To ensure all guests receive their first bowl, additional handcrafted bowls will be available for purchase beginning at 12:00 PM. All proceeds benefit Food Bank of Wyoming, supporting meals and resources for neighbors throughout the state.
