The Rat and Pigeon

The Rat and Pigeon supports grassroots music venues by raising funds through events like charity raffles. They collaborate with organizations like Music Venue Trust to enhance the live music experience and ensure the survival of local venues.

After the overwhelming response of the Wythenshawe Park x Pulp pop-up pub in association with Mr Jarvis Cocker himself, we have been inundated with requests for any &lsquo;left over&rsquo; Pulp Paraphernalia. Not only do we have plenty of the original Pulp Pop-Up decor to dish out, but we&rsquo;ve also teamed up with our pals over at Rought Trade Records to bring you the opportunity of winning packed Pulp bundles through the medium of Charity raffle - with all donations going towards our chosen charity - The Music Venue Trust. The Music Venue Trust is a charity that acts to protect, secure and improve grassroots music venues like ours. Earlier this year MVT issued us a grant enabling us to install air conditioning to our grassroots venue. They support grassroots venues up and down the country with their expertise, experience, fighting our corner and funding projects that help improve our venues for gig-goers and musicians alike. They&rsquo;re absolutely instrumental to the grassroots scene and we want to pay it forward so that they can continue to help grassroots venues like ours up and down the country.
