The Root of Jesse Home Missions Inc. empowers women facing crisis by providing mentoring, life skills, and community support. Through a restoration shop, they help rebuild lives and foster hope, ensuring every woman is seen and encouraged.

There are moments in life that change the way you see the world.For me, those moments began with my own daughter.Walking beside her through addiction, homelessness, and unimaginable loss opened my eyes to a reality I had never fully understood. Through her journey, I met other women, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and children quietly carrying impossible burdens.I realized my daughter was not alone.She was one of many.Then one afternoon, while sharing lunch with my daughter in Victoria Square, she looked at me and quietly said,&quot;Usually I watch other people live... today, they watch me live.&quot;Those words have never left me.In that moment, she invited me into a world I could never have understood from the outside&mdash;a world where people can feel invisible, where life continues all around them, yet they no longer feel part of it.That conversation became part of the vision for We Are Their Mothers.My daughter is one of many women whose stories have shaped this journey. Today, our mission reaches beyond our own family.
