Open Mic Night Every WednesdayJoin us every Wednesday for an evening of creativity, community, and live performance at The Royal in Glenside. Our open mic welcomes musicians, poets, comedians, and performers of all kinds in a supportive, listening-room environment. Each act gets 10–12 minutes on stage with a full backline provided, making it easy for artists of all levels to share their work.A full backline is provided including microphones, DI boxes for acoustic guitars / keyboard, etc, guitar amp, bass amp, drum set and 88-key digital piano. Any other specific sound needs can typically be met. Email [email protected] with questions. Doors open at 7:15 PM, and performers must grab a ticket upon arrival. We use a lottery system for sign-ups—at 7:30 PM, tickets are called in random order, and each performer chooses their spot on the lineup. This ensures a fair process and gives everyone an equal opportunity for stage time.
