The Toronto International Tap Dance Festival (TITDF) is a biennial event produced by Toffan Rhythm Projects taking place August 21&ndash;23, 2026 in Toronto, Canada. Over three days of programming, the festival brings together leading international and Canadian tap dancers, musicians, educators, and audiences to celebrate and advance the art form of tap dance. Festival programming includes two mainstage performances, workshops for a variety of experience levels, free panel discussions, and a PWYC live music closing jam session featuring artists from across Canada and abroad. The festival is dedicated to cultivating artistic exchange, preserving the cultural lineage of tap dance, and creating meaningful opportunities for connection, education, and performance within Canada&rsquo;s growing tap dance community. At a time when arts organizations across Canada continue to face significant funding cuts and rising production costs, community support is more important than ever. Contributions to the Toronto International Tap Dance Festival directly support artist fees, venue and production expenses, educational programming, and accessibility initiatives that help keep this event vibrant and sustainable.
