Learn more about EarthcraftEarthcraft is a yearly science, art, crafting, queer ecology, and sustainability focused festival that features elemental themed workshops, science inspired puppet and music performances, recycled material focused craft activities, market with local vendors, ecosystem themed animation screening/fashion show, and art installations.Started in 2025 at Jane Addams Hull House Museum at UIC, the event aims to bring together working scientists, sustainability advocates, and artists to see how they collaborate and create based off each other's work. 10% of all proceeds for the event go towards local sustainability efforts and the majority of event partners are queer, disabled, or BIPOC. This event is also sober and accessibility focused, sliding scale, and available to all who wish to learn!Earthcraft 2 is a collaborative event organized by The Artistic Alphabet Mafia, Care Cubby, Urban Rivers, Building Press, and Trashgoblins.Earthcraft 1 was held at Hull House in 2025. Earthcraft! 2 will be at The Wild Mile Mat 8, 2027.We are raising funds for space, activities, and to adequately compensate artists, speakers, and organizers.
