The Union County Branch NAACP advocates for civil rights, racial equity, and social justice. They empower communities through education, activism, and outreach, striving to eliminate racial discrimination and promote equality for all individuals.

Rev. Corine Mack, Speaker Rev. Corine Mack is a nationally respected civil rights leader, minister, and advocate with more than 54 years of service advancing racial equity, economic justice, workers&#39; rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, and environmental justice. She serves as President of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg NAACP and 1st Vice President of the North Carolina NAACP State Conference. A retired New York City Transit train operator and labor leader, Rev. Mack has held numerous leadership roles in labor, faith, and community organizations. She studied labor law at the George Meany School for Labor Law and Cornell Law School and has dedicated her life to empowering underserved communities through advocacy, organizing, and public service.
