Union Park District Council

Union Park District Council works to prevent displacement by supporting housing stability for families in need. Through the Housing Stability Fund, they provide urgent financial assistance and advocate for fair housing, fostering a secure community.

We are asking for the community&rsquo;s support in providing basic household essentials to residents displaced from Skyline Tower.&nbsp; In October 2025, a fire and electrical failure caused severe flooding, forcing nearly 800 residents from their homes. In the months that followed, many families faced continued hardship, compounded by the impact of Operation Metro Surge, which brought additional fear and uncertainty to the community. We are working closely with onsite staff to assist residents who are still recovering&mdash;replacing water-damaged belongings and rebuilding from the challenges of the past year. Donations will help provide everyday necessities such as blankets, pillowcases, towels, linens, and other essential household items, as well as activities and resources for children.&nbsp; Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in helping these families rebuild and feel at home again.
