Unity of Santa Barbara fosters spiritual growth and community connection through transformative teachings and practices, aiming to inspire individuals to create positive change in their lives and the world.

Unmasking the Authentic Self: In this experiential workshop, participants will identify the roles and protective identities they have developed throughout their lives. Through reflection, spiritual practice, and guided exercises, we will begin releasing the beliefs that keep us hidden and reconnect with the essential self that has always been whole, worthy, and free.

Break free from beliefs that hold you back at &ldquo;Breaking Free from Limiting Beliefs&rdquo; with TJ Woodward 🎟️ Many of our struggles begin with unconscious beliefs we&#39;ve carried for years. In this interactive workshop, you&#39;ll learn how to identify the beliefs that keep you stuck and discover practical spiritual tools for replacing them with a deeper awareness of your wholeness and innate potential. At Unity of Santa Barbara, we honor each person&rsquo;s spiritual path. This gathering supports our shared intention to live from love, deepen awareness, and create a more peaceful, inclusive community. ✨

TJ Woodward Workshop "Breaking Free from Limiting Beliefs"

Socrates said, &quot;Know thyself. &quot;The person we need to know the best in this lifetime is yourself and our culture is created around avoiding the REAL you. The best gift you can give yourself is a quiet moment to have a deep listen to yourself and your surroundings. I am calling this a &quot;soiree&quot; because you are asking&nbsp;your inner self to &quot;take up more space&quot; and be heard, which is a soiree with yourself. Results of the day are a profound sense of ease and a renewed connection to the natural sweetness of life. It&#39;s a self-hug day. &nbsp; Lunch (eating meditation) will also be held in silence&mdash;a delicious practice. We will follow the Vipassana practice of alternating sitting and walking meditation. A schedule will be provided; chimes will guide the day. Everyone is being asked to arrive by 9:45 a.m. to store your lunch and locate&nbsp;your space in the chapel. Clear Instructions for the day will be provided. Please&nbsp;wear comfortable clothes, bring water, your cushion, and a blanket if you need one. &nbsp;🎵Join us for a customized immersive sound journey with the extraordinary David Kennet,&nbsp;visiting from Miami. Step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with the quiet intelligence within you. The evening begins with gentle breath, simple humming, and vocal resonance practices designed to calm the nervous system, awaken the body, and bring you into greater presence. No singing experience is necessary. As the group settles into a shared field of intention, each participant will write a personal intention to guide their journey. Through sound, vibration, and focused presence, those intentions become the foundation for all that follows. Each participant will also receive a brief, individualized one-on-one sound healing, with their personal intention held and supported through focused presence, sound, and vibration while the group remains immersed in the collective soundscape. David Kennet is an international musician, voice coach, and sound healer whose work explores the relationship between sound, breath, and the nervous system. After overcoming life-threatening asthma through singing and intentional sound, he devoted his life to understanding how the voice can become a pathway to presence, resilience, and healing. Blending somatic awareness, vocal activation, and immersive sound experiences, David creates spaces where people can release tension, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate greater ease, vitality, and self-trust. He is known for guiding experiences that are both deeply grounding and profoundly transformative.
