USNA PCNI Memberships (Please do NOT pay before June 1)
Membership runs from June 1 through May 31. WHAT DO MEMBERSHIP DUES COVER? Paid members are invited to our social events and meetings, which include cocktail receptions, football viewing parties, and celebrations for parents and midshipmen. We also provide cookies to kick off the academic year, Dark Ages care packages, and special gifts for midshipmen and their families during our Welcome Aboard, 2-for-7 signing, and Commissioning events. Members who have paid dues for all four years and have a graduating Midshipman will receive a Silver Dollar coin from their commissioning year during the Spring Club meeting before their Commissioning. This coin is traditionally used for their MIDs "First Salute" after Commissioning. Any goods or services required for each event that are not donated are purchased with the dues. Please let us know if the club fee creates a financial hardship for your family. We will keep this information confidential, as we desire to include everyone who wishes to participate in the USNA Parents Club of Illinois.Memberships shall be by the family unit; therefore, in a family unit with two parents or guardians, the membership will be a dual membership, with each person considered a regular member. Where the parents or guardians are not of the same household (separated, divorced, non-married), each parent or guardian will be eligible for membership. A dual membership will apply to the newly formed family unit if a parent or guardian remarries. Still, each parent or guardian (from the individual units) must apply separately for membership and submit dues accordingly. As a 501 (c) (3) organization, your donation may be tax-deductible; however, please consult your tax professional for more information. If you are unsure if/what you've paid in the past, please email us before paying for a new membership. If you would like to pay by check, email us for the mailing [email protected] NOTE: NAPS and Foundation families are exempt from dues until their son/daughter enters USNA.
