Vermont All State Music Festival Long-Term Scholarship Fund
Students who audition to participate in the Vermont All State Music Festival can also choose to perform in front of adjudicators for the chance to receive a scholarship recognizing outstanding musical talent. Scholarships are currently funded through donations, advertising revenue, and a portion of ticket sales from the festival concerts. In a typical year, there are 10 to 15 scholarships awarded. Unfortunately, a lack of sufficient funding means we are unable to present students with scholarships large enough to reflect their significant accomplishments. The festival established a long-term scholarship fund several years ago and is working to raise enough funds so that this fund can generate revenue (interest income) to help fund the annual scholarships. The fund currently has approximately $32,000. Donations to this campaign will be added to the long-term scholarship fund to help us reach the goal of being able to generate $5,000 to $10,000 (or more) annually so that the festival can award scholarships that have a significant impact on students.
