Beth Whitman a beloved member of our Vet5 family, standing beside Veterans and First Responders who were fighting their own battles at home. Today, we’re coming together to help her family cover the cost of her funeral and lay her to rest with dignity. 🇺🇸Since leaving the military, Beth has faced more than her share of struggles, but she has always fought hard, stayed strong, and done everything she could to support her family. Now she is facing a pain no mother should ever have to endure.Beth’s daughter, Stephanie, had been visiting her mom before starting a new job in Pensacola. She was excited, hopeful, and looking forward to the next chapter of her life. But Stephanie never made it there.Around 10:00 p.m. on September 19, Stephanie was involved in a horrific crash on I-65. She suffered severe injuries to her ribs, lungs, and extremities and was placed on life support at Baptist Health in Montgomery. Beth stayed by her daughter’s side, praying, hoping, and loving her through every moment.Last night, Stephanie passed away.Vet5 Foundation was able to help Beth with hotel stays so she could be near Stephanie when her daughter needed her most. But our direct support funds for emergencies like this are limited, and now Beth needs our help again — this time to lay her daughter to rest.Any amount is greatly appreciated to support one of our military family in this time of need.
