VF Rescue & Sanctuary

VF Rescue & Sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need, providing them with a safe haven, medical care, and loving homes. Their mission is to advocate for animal welfare and promote responsible pet ownership.

We have taken on 30 additional dogs and must keep up with food! 🥣🦴🍗🍖 In exchange for the land, 2 acres, we have taken on the entire operation of another rescuer! Fanny has a kidney disease. She cannot process proteins correctly, so she has to be on a prescription diet.&nbsp; We&rsquo;ve chosen the most affordable (and one she actually likes!) but the cost is prohibitive.&nbsp; Every 6 days we spend 60 dollars on her can food. Every two weeks we spend 71 dollars on her dry food. The dry food really helps stretch the can food, but that&rsquo;s still a monthly bill of $442 dollars in a typical 30 day month.&nbsp; Since she started the food, her energy is back. Her legs no longer shake, and she&rsquo;s no longer losing muscle.&nbsp; Fanny will need to remain on this diet for life. She could use a sponsor (or 20!) to help pay for her very necessary food. Fanny is also in congestive heart failure now. That means her medical needs, including vet visits and medication has increased. So far we have spent over $3000 in the last three months on vet visits and medication. Will you consider a monthly donation to help Fanny stay healthy and happy??

Right now we are using medicine to keep it from infecting, but he needs to have it removed while he is still healthy enough to undergo surgery! This 15lb, 17 year old boy could really use your support!
