Viva Montana

Viva Montana fosters cultural connection and community through Latin dance events, workshops, and festivals. Their mission is to create accessible spaces for learning and celebrating Latin American traditions, promoting joy and cross-cultural understanding.

Latin Nights at the Elks Ballroom are more than just dance events &mdash; they are community-powered cultural gatherings that bring people together through music, movement, and shared experience. Hosted by Viva Montana!, these nights feature salsa and other Latin dance styles, live and curated music, community dance lessons, and an inviting social atmosphere that welcomes dancers of all levels. Viva Montana is thrilled to welcome Michael John Saltus to Missoula on Saturday, June 13, 2026, for an incredible day of dance, connection, and community!&nbsp; A former Grizzly football player&nbsp;(Go Griz! 🐻), Michael now lives in San Diego, where he teaches, performs, and travels to festivals across the United States, sharing his passion for Latin dance. WORKSHOPS | 4&ndash;6 PM📍 Montana Moonlight StudiosFeaturing:&bull; Salsa Partnering&bull; Bachata Partnering&bull; Ladies Styling Whether you&rsquo;re looking to sharpen your social dancing, improve technique, or build confidence and styling, these workshops are for you! Michael shared:&nbsp;&ldquo;Finally teaching in Missoula, Montana! I&rsquo;m very honored to go do what I love and give to that community. Blessed to help grow the dance scene and continue building the dance community!&quot; Michael is also available for private lessons while in Missoula.
