Join W3 Bee-Long for Prepare Before the Scare: Stage Four &ndash; Police Familiarity, an opportunity designed to help build familiarity before an emergency ever happens. Participants will have the opportunity to meet police officers, explore a police vehicle, see equipment up close, and learn about the many ways officers help our community. This experience is designed with individuals with exceptionalities in mind and focuses on building familiarity in a supportive, lower-sensory environment. The experience will also include an interactive &ldquo;How Police Help&rdquo; activity, helping participants explore the many roles police officers play beyond emergencies. Our goal is simple: practice outside of the challenging situation, so the real situation feels a little more familiar.

🚀 Aviation &amp; Rocket Community Experience ✈️ This is the FIRST time an experience like this has intentionally been opened and adapted for our neurodiverse and neurological disability community. 🤍 CHRIS FOX, CAPT. KRYSTAL SWAIN, NASA Solar System Ambassadors, &amp; Civil Air Patrol LA Wing loved the vision behind this experience and partnered with us to help make it happen. ✈️🚀 Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy: 🚀 Interactive soft rocket &amp; push rocket activities✈️ Large model airplane flying experiences with guided instruction🛩 Model airplane airshow demonstrations 🚀 Guided&nbsp;Engine-powered model rocket launches will take place approximately every 20 minutes, allowing families to participate at their own pace and enjoy as much or as little of the experience as feels comfortable for them. 💛 Structured with accessibility in mind. Prepare Before the ScareStage 3 gives you a calm, guided intro to EMS teams, ambulances, and the sounds and spaces that can feel overwhelming during emergencies 🚑. By building familiarity now, we protect both people and responders&mdash;so everyone can focus on care when it matters most.&nbsp; 9:30 AM - Children (ages 6+) Families&nbsp;11:00&nbsp;AM - Adults and Caregivers&nbsp; Focus:Participants will first engage in a lower-stimulation indoor environment where EMS personnel will introduce themselves, discuss their role during emergencies, and reintroduce medical equipment in a calm and supportive setting. The experience will then gradually transition into optional outdoor ambulance familiarity exposure. Whether that means getting up close with the animals, taking breaks when needed, or simply being present in the environment &mdash; you&rsquo;re welcome here exactly as you are. We understand that not all areas of the farm may be wheelchair accessible. For participants who use wheelchairs or need mobility support, animals can be brought to you so you can still fully enjoy the experience. We invite families to bring a picnic lunch so we can wind down together and enjoy a shared moment at the end of the experience. We&rsquo;ll have a few simple games available for anyone who wants to join in &mdash; or you can simply relax and take it all in. Join W3 Bee-Long for&nbsp;Prepare Before the Scare: Stage Five &ndash; Firefighter familiarity,&nbsp;an opportunity designed to help build familiarity before an emergency ever happens. Participants will have the opportunity to meet firefighters, explore a fire truck through a Touch-A-Truck experience, see firefighters in full uniform, and become familiar with equipment used during fire emergencies. The session will begin with a gentle introduction to low siren sounds in a supportive, lower-sensory environment. Participants will also take part in simple role-play and visual activities focused on what to do&mdash;and what not to do&mdash;during a fire, including why it is important not to hide. This experience is designed with individuals with exceptionalities in mind and includes plenty of room for movement, participation at each person&rsquo;s comfort level, and fun along the way. Our goal is simple: practice outside of the challenging situation, so the real situation feels a little more familiar. Touch-A-Truck Firefighter (familiarity)

Prepare Before the Scare Stage 6 - CPR Familiarity&nbsp; An opportunity designed to help build familiarity before an emergency ever happens. Through role-play, participants will be introduced to CPR and AED equipment and learn that emergency responders are helping&mdash;not hurting&mdash;the person receiving care. They will practice giving responders space, calling 911 from their caregiver&rsquo;s phone, and getting another adult only when that person is already close by. Participants will also learn a simple rhythm song that gives them a safe, active way to help during the experience. This is not CPR instruction. The goal is to help participants better understand what is happening, so they are less likely to panic, hide, run away, or miss that an emergency is taking place. Saturday, November 14
