NB: I forgot to update the calendar in the software coding for the New Year. If you were looking here after 12/31/25 and found Tickets/Levels missing, this is why. OOPS! :-0 It should be fixed now. Thank you for your patience (and thank you to the kind folks that politely brought the glitch to my attention &lt;3&nbsp; The First Faire du Well is being planned NOW! (Today is 01/05/2026). We have been working on this Faire for over a year at this point and are only about FIVE MONTHS away from the Faire du Well Celebration June 13-14, 2026.&nbsp; We have a site (Skagit County Fairgrounds). We have a Date (06/13-14/2026)We already have interest from entertainers, merchants, community groups, Chambers of Commerce, social service groups, governments, etc. Our Budget is $50,000 to bring this about. We will get some of that from Tickets, some from Merchants, some from Parking. The easiest way we can recover many of our expenditures is IN KIND TRADE. If we rent storage/office/shop space between now and Opening, it will be about $10,000. IF someone has a spare (even unattractive) warehouse space that we could use for these purposes, that would be as good as a cash donation! We have plans for a Souvenir Booth, for a &quot;Storm The Castle&quot; Catapult Game that needs attendants, Parking, Security, Legal, Accounting, Advertising, Trash Pick Up, Set Up, Tear Down, Merchant relief volunteers, logistics, and more. If we have Volunteers (even business TEAM members) that, again, lets us put our resources into Talent and the Experience of the Attendees. IF YOU CAN HELP, even if just an hour a month, it would be great. We have presented programming, educational content, entertainment, and fundraisers at Conventions, Faires, and institutions of higher education.&nbsp; We are establishing a series of Renaissance Faires in the Skagit Valley to fund an eventual year-round Elizabethan Village there. WHO WILL THIS VILLAGE BE USED BY (you may ask)? YOU, the public (for Weddings, Graduations, Parties, School Groups, and Families.) AND Destination Tourism. Be aware of names like &quot;LARPers&quot; &amp; LARPing, The SCA, Empire of Medieval Pursuits. Scouting Groups. Conferences. Camping &amp; History Groups, DnD live action players. Sponsored by the Washington Shakespearean Festival, this training session is for anyone who plans and/or helps put on: Music Festivals, Art Walks, Community Garage Sales, Renaissance Faires, County/State Fairs, Carnivals, Theatre Festivals, Bazaars, Street Fairs.&nbsp; We&rsquo;ll walk through practical plans for crowds, weather, medical issues, and more. The First Annual Skagit Valley Renaissance &quot;Faire du Well&quot; June 11-13, 2027. Skagit County Fairgrounds, Mt Vernon WA. Our Faire is set for the 2nd weekend in June here on out! :-) The Premier &quot;Faire du Well&quot; in 2026 was a success. Even for the first year (with all the issues a first year event may bring) the vast majority of Merchants, Entertainers, Volunteers, and AUDIENCE MEMBERS said &quot;HUZZAH! Looking forward to 2027! :-) So, this next Faire will be Bringing you MORE interactive Period Merchants, Entertainments, hands-on Demonstrations and Conversations, Activities, Armored Combatants, Actors, Bards/Minstrels/Musicians, Dancing, Sing-a-Longs, ALL AGES activities, Shakespearean Frolics, Shade, and Quiet Spaces. This year, Parking will be first come first served only - pay at the Gate ($10.00 each car). We will not be doing advanced parking sales. Audience tickets, yes. Tickets are available now (and will only go up from here). Parking, only at the Gate. (ADA / Handicapped parking placards/plates will still get free parking).
