Your gift supports the Green Wall renovation 🌿—The Green Wall at Waterloo Arts that we love so much needs a little TLC! We are asking for your support so we can replant the wall and hire someone to maintain a thriving wall for everyone in our community to enjoy. Check out our thank you gifts below! In 2021, Waterloo Arts built a green wall in the cafe space of the art center. The wall was part of a larger green infrastructure project funded by the Northeast Ohio Sewer District which included installation of a green roof, cistern and permeable pavers. The green wall is watered by rainwater harvested from our green roof and for many years it provided beautiful biophilic design in our building. The plants have become leggy and there was plant loss due to a power outage that shut off the automatic watering system. We have to be honest, we love plants and we love having them surround us at Waterloo Arts but, going forward, we would really love someone with more plant care experience to help monitor and maintain these plants so everyone can enjoy them well into the future. We found just the person - Lindsey Krivenki of Variegate Design ! Lindsey is an artist who loves all things plants and is a veteran vendor at the Waterloo Arts Fest (her husband Dan makes our festival videos!). Lindsey has agreed to sponsor our green wall renovation and is donating her time to clean and replant the wall with healthy plants. With your help we can purchase all the supplies (plants, soil, watering equipment) necessary and hire Lindsey to care for the wall well into the future. To show our appreciation, if you donate $20 or more we have some special thank you gifts:- Donate $20 and receive STICKER PACK with Variegate Design & Waterloo Arts stickers. - Donate $30 and you receive the STICKER PACK but also a RUBBER TREE cutting from our green wall planted in a lovely terracotta pot (first 40 donors). These Rubber Trees were watered with harvested rainwater :)To receive your gift, stop by Waterloo Arts during gallery hours (Thursday - Saturday, 12-4pm and first Fridays 6-9pm) or email
