Ways and Means Theatre

Ways and Means Theatre fosters community through innovative performances that celebrate diverse voices and stories. They aim to create bold, language-rich theatrical experiences that resonate with Chicago's vibrant culture.

Tacos, Toasts & Season One! Ways & Means Theatre is officially launching its very first season — and we're celebrating the only way a new Chicago ensemble should: with margaritas in hand. Join us at Barcocina in Lakeview on August 11, 2026 for our Season One Announcement Party! It's Taco Tuesday, so come hungry — a portion of all proceeds from the evening benefits Ways & Means Theatre as we kick off a season of bold new works and reimagined classics. Plus, the silent auction is live! Bid online now through the event, then join us in person for the final bidding showdown. Great items, great cause, great guac. Come raise a glass with the ensemble, hear what we've got planned, and help us launch something courageous, language-rich, and unmistakably Chicago.
