WBES PTO supports student events and initiatives at West Brookfield Elementary School, raising funds through community events like the Dash into Summer 5K to enhance educational experiences and provide inclusive playground facilities for all students.

WBES PTO 50/50 Raffle

Dash into Summer 5K and Kid&#39;s race is a Family event. Walk, Stroll, Jog or Run your way through our outlined course. &nbsp;The route ends on the West Brookfield town common where we will have a variety of vendors, lawn games, face painters, balloon artists, bubble machines, a DJ, 50/50 raffles, all in addition to other varieties of fun for all members of the family.&nbsp; The kids run takes place on the common at 8:30 AM. With the 5K set to start shortly after at 9:00 AM.&nbsp; The 5K route does have hills. A water station will be posted at the half way point of the route. The event will start and end on School Street West Brookfield, MA.&nbsp; All participants registered before 5/1/2026 are guaranteed a race shirt. Registrations after 5/1/2026 will receive shirt while supplies last based on registration for minimum of first 200 registrations.&nbsp;Finishers medals upon completion! Race day registration pick up beginning at 7:30 AM on the West Brookfield Common. Depending on volume of participants an additional pre registration pick up may be arranged for the night before as well for your convenience TBA at a later date. Got old Sneakers? Donate them at our event to keep them out of the landfill. We are partnering with gotsneakers? to get extra life out of old running shoes.&nbsp;🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at WBES PTO&#39;s fundraising event. It&#39;s an event like no other, and we want you to be there! 🎉 Every registration to this event will bring us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all. Proceeds of the 5K event go to the 501 (c) 3 WBES PTO. The PTO provides funding for a variety of student events throughout the year including but not limited to:&nbsp;-Charlie Brown Thanksgiving-Elves R Us holiday store-Snow Ball-Tie dye day-Teacher appreciation Week-Spring fling-Scholastic journals-Teacher reimbursements-Quaboag graduate scholarship-Cost of Field trip travel-Field trip costs In recent years the WBES PTO has worked hard in raising funds to have an all inclusive fully ADA compliant playground put in place to be accessible for Kindergarten-second graders during school days. All equipment and supplies have been purchased. There is a plan to break ground and have the project completed in June 2026.In addition to this, with the help of this 5K fundraiser, the WBES PTO is looking to install a few &quot;buddy&quot; benches on the playground.&nbsp; Your support is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to seeing you there!
