Please renew your membership so we can continue to support crisis pregnancy homes, the handicapped, new vocations, the needy and brother Knights in distress. Being a member in good standing and current with the required dues are essential to retaining a voting say in the future of our Council and the Columbian Club Hall. ANNUAL CHRISTMAS GIFT DRIVE - LIVE NATIVITY IN NEWARK
The recipients of our Christmas gifts this year are the children served by the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in Newark. The Friars address the material and spiritual needs of the people in the West Ward of the city and host an annual Live Nativity play (we provide food and beverages) that concludes with giving out wrapped gifts to 200 children and teenagers. The date is Sunday, December 15 and you can learn more here; Live Nativity in Newark.Girls ages 3-12: Barbie dolls or any other dolls, white or ethnic. Baby dolls, white or ethnic. Barbie heads for styling, white or ethnic (These were very popular last year). Craft sets, Board games, Play makeup kits, Crayola sets, Play animal sets. Boys ages 3-12: Legos, Basketballs, Footballs, Soccer balls, Nerf balls, Board games, Matchbox or Hotwheel cars and trucks, Crayola sets. Teenagers 13-18: PJ’s, Hoodies, Sweaters, Gift cards, Pocket books, Backpacks, Make-up.The children, families, and Friars sincerely appreciate the generosity of our Council. This Annual Christmas Present Drive has enjoyed great support and helps to keep the spirit of Christmas alive in all our hearts.
