The Winnipeg Game Collective is a nonprofit community of game developers in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Founded in 2014, the collective promotes game development and fosters a supportive environment, welcoming individuals from all backgrounds and skills.

🧩 ABOUT THE EVENTThe Winnitron Game Jam challenges you to make a game that runs on the Winnitron 1000, Winnipeg&#39;s homegrown indie arcade cabinet. Every submitted game will be added to the machine so that it will be playable at future WGC events.Work solo or with a team, from anywhere. You&#39;ll find it at meetups and community events.What makes a game Winnitron compatible?Your game needs to work with the cabinet&#39;s controls and technical requirements. You don&#39;t need access to the machine to make one, since the Winnitron controls send standard keyboard keypresses and you can test with any keyboard.
