Paul found freedom from alcohol use disorder and used his lived experience to support others on their recovery journeys. He believed deeply in the power of peer support and in the transformative impact that one person can have on another simply by showing up, listening and offering encouragement.Those who knew Paul remember his generosity, authenticity and desire to give back. Recovery was not simply something he achieved; it became a calling. He was especially inspired by Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) training and found great meaning in learning how to support others through shared experience.
